Home Health Care Nursing Services
Cottage Homecare Services provides the finest in home care personnel. Our home health care professionals are carefully screened, bonded and insured to enable patients and their families to feel more at ease. In fact, it is not uncommon for our home care attendants to become "a member of the family." Home attendants and nurses are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year including holidays. The patient has the flexibility of hourly shift or live-in care on a long or short term basis. This approach can be used to address both chronic and acute conditions. The Professional Approach
Cottage Homecare Services is a full service agency and we provide the following health care professionals
Registered Nurses (RNs):
Our RNs can provide full nursing care services including the administration of medications and treatments prescribed by a physician.
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs):
LPNs follow a plan of care under the direction of a physician or registered professional nurse; the LPN administers prescribed medications and treatments as well as taking care of hygiene needs and providing assistance to patients in carrying out activities of daily living.
Nursing Attendants (Live-in or Live-out):
Attendants work within the framework of the home care plan under the direction of a supervising registered nurse, providing companionship along with personal hygiene and physical activity needs. Meal preparation and light housekeeping may also be provided.
In addition, we offer all the support services that make home care easier:
- Health assessment and program planning
- On-site supervisory visits
- Supervision of diet and nutrition
- Medical social services
- Pharmacy services
- Medical equipment and supplies
- Help with insurance documentation, paper work and forms

In addition, all our attendants and nurses participate in periodic education updates' annual health assessments' skills testing. And all our home attendants are under nursing supervision and receive evaluations from our supervising registered nurses.
