Many of our services are reimbursable under Medicare, Medicaid, Major medical or other forms of insurance. Our staff will work with you in completing forms, obtaining prior approvals and in general, planning a program that maximizes the benefits available to you or your loved one.

Case Preparation

Cottage's home health care coordinators confer as necessary with the patient's physician, the hospital's discharge planner (if the patient is hospitalized) and the social worker who is assigned to the patient, before any decisions are made about the specific needs of the patient.

Supervisory R.N. In-Home Evaluation

Following an initial assessment and orientation visit, one of Cottage's supervisory registered nurses conducts the first of the on-site evaluations of the homecare provider. To ensure that the needs cot the patient are being met, our R.N.'s maintain regular contact with the patient since his or her needs may change without notice.
